Common failures and solutions of compression testing machine

1. The oil pump does not deliver oil
Reason: There is air in the oil pump, the oil filter is blocked and the oil outlet valve seat does not match, and the steel ball and ball seat have scratches and burrs.
Remedy: Open the high-pressure oil outlet pipe joint of the oil pump to exhaust. Clean and discharge the air in the oil pump. Replace or repair the corresponding parts.
 
2. The oil pump is unstable (the force value oscillates back and forth).
Reason: oil viscosity is too small (too thin) or too dirty; there is air in the oil circuit. There is dirt or roughness between the oil delivery valve piston and its bushing. There is an oil leak.
Remedy: Replace clean oil with suitable viscosity. After removing the air in the oil circuit and raising the piston for a certain distance, open the oil return plug. Clean and grind the napped parts. Find out the oil leak and remove it.
 
3. Oil pressure pulsation (the oil returning pipe of the oil delivery valve, the oil return is intermittent, and the force value of the standard dynamometer is jittered when the load value is checked)
Reason: There is air in the oil pump. The oil viscosity is too small (too thin). The throttle needle clearance of the fuel delivery valve is too large. There is dirt in the oil pump. The oil outlet valve seat does not match, and the steel ball and ball seat have burrs and scratches.
Elimination method: Exclude air. Replace with suitable oil. Reduce the throttle needle clearance. Clean the oil pump. Replace or repair the corresponding parts.
 
4. The oil pressure can't hit the maximum load
Reason: The oil delivery valve plug sleeve is too tight or there is dirt. The spring force of the fuel delivery valve is too small. There is a big oil leak. Oil is leaking from the front end of the oil delivery valve piston. The oil pipe joint is leaking. The working piston clearance is too large. The needle valve of the oil return valve does not match.
Remedy: Clean or grind the corresponding parts. Add a washer on the end of the spring or replace the spring. Eliminate oil spills. Tighten the screw sleeve. Tighten after replacing the gasket. Increase the oil viscosity slightly or replace the piston. Combine the oil return valve.
 
5. The force value does not return to zero after unloading
Reason: The rack is stuck. The pendulum rod fell back too fast to make the rack jump out of the wheel.
Remedy: adjust the spring leaf. Re-engage the rack. Rotate the rack to zero.
 
6. The pendulum thallium falls too fast after the specimen is damaged, causing an impact.
Reason: oil viscosity is too small (too thin). The gap between the cone surface of the cushion valve and the valve cap is too large.
Remedy: replace oil with suitable viscosity. Re-adjust the gap or modify the buffer valve and nut threads.
 
7. The pendulum is too slow to fall back
Reason: The viscosity of the oil is too high. The gap between the cushion valve cone and the valve cap is too small.
Remedy: Replace with suitable oil. Readjust the gap.
 
8. Start the oil pump and the pointer will swing back and forth after work
Reason: The lower end of the force measuring piston is not aligned with the position of the top block.
Remedy: correct location
 
9. The indication error is out of tolerance
Reason: The friction force between the force measuring cylinder and the force measuring piston is too large, which is contaminated, rusted and roughed, resulting in a negative value. The friction between the working oil cylinder and the working piston is too large, polluted, rusted and roughed, resulting in a positive value.
Elimination method: cleaning, derusting, grinding
 
10. The indication value is unstable, and the error direction is changeable in multiple pressure tests
Reason: (1) The nuts on the top and bottom of the column are not tightened. (2) Poor fit of the ball seat.
Remedy: Tighten the ball seat.
 
11. After the cement specimen is compressed, it becomes single-sided failure
Reason: poor tee fit
Elimination method: align the ball seat
 
12. The cracking sound is too loud when the specimen is broken
Reason: The cylinder clearance is too large. The piston rises too high.
Remedy: add a spacer to reduce the rising height of the working piston.
 
13. No printout during automatic control
Reason: no printing paper
Elimination method: install printing paper
 
14. The loading automatic control device fails
Notify the manufacturer to send a professional to repair
